Project Details

DABA is a natural self-care brand for men with melanin-rich skin. For too long, black men in Europe, Asia and it's environs have had to make do with products that do not cater for the dryness and ashiness of their skin type. With this in mind, the team of experts at DABA who understand the unique needs of black men's skin, worked on their debut products; the Body Wash and Body Lotion.

Using the tagline, "Made for Black Kings", we looked into different kings from major regions in Africa, and we picked some of their most prominent kings. Using something that all these kings have in common, which is a crown, we drew out the unique patterns, and this formed the basis of the brands visuals, used across all of DABA's brand touchpoints.
